I established Nordic.Root in 2015, after discovering 17th century Swedish wedding rings in a museum. I wanted to create the jewellery I longed to wear but could not buy. And so I started my studies in traditional goldsmith techniques…

Through play with colour, shape, texture and movement each piece is loved into existence. I see beauty all around me in the natural world, and my jewellery is a reflections of this. To my mind all precious metals and stones are only borrowed from the earth. By infusing them with poetry and symbolic meaning they can become our cherished reminders of beauty and interconnectivity.
